As with everything else in TARSHI, this is a team effort! The editorial team works together to solicit original content, curate material from around the web, translate articles, and collaborate extensively with contributors on refining their pieces.
Meet the team:
Prabha Nagaraja has been with TARSHI since it was founded in 1996 and was its Executive Director from 2013 to 2024. She is now a consultant with us.
Radhika Chandiramani, founded TARSHI in 1996 and is currently a consultant with us. She trained as a clinical psychologist at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). Her main areas of interest are sexuality and rights. She has co-edited Sexuality, Gender and Rights: Exploring Theory and Practice in South and Southeast Asia (Sage, 2005) and written Good Times for Everyone: Sexuality Questions, Feminist Answers (Women Unlimited, 2008).
Shikha Aleya is a Programme Officer with TARSHI. A post-graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur, graduate from Hindu college, Delhi University, she has created independent projects in her interest areas, as well as worked across sectors as a project based consultant. Reading, writing, and exploring some of the lesser known aspects of being are running themes of her life and identity. Areas of engagement over decades include child rights and child protection, gender and sexuality, health, disability and care concerns over a spectrum of life elements and experiences.
