The discussion of sexuality among people with disabilities is limited and sometimes restricted to health issues or circumstances involving abuse. The connections between disability and sexuality are still not frequently addressed or acknowledged. This working paper examines laws and policies pertaining to sexuality and disability in India and is a helpful tool for people with disabilities, their families, carers, researchers, reporters, cross-sector collaborators, planners and policymakers, and others interested in rights issues, gender justice, and equality.
