At TARSHI, we are committed to create a Safe, Inclusive and Self-Affirming space for all team members as well as for the organisations and communities we work with.
We approach our policies, to varying degrees, as living documents. This means that our intention is to be flexible and adapt to changing needs while at the same time ensuring that we have guidelines that are universal and applicable to all at any given point in time.
The vision and intent behind our policies and practices is to promote an affirmative approach with an openness to understanding the specific personal circumstances of individuals. We use an intersectional lens to understand the specific factors that are relevant to any given context. Our policies at TARSHI are rooted in experiential learning, thoughtful discussions, and dialogue, all of which are guided by a rights-based perspective. We view policy as a dynamic and essential component of our organisation’s existence.
We would love to engage with you if you have any feedback/ thoughts/ questions on our policies. You can reach out to us here.
