TARSHI conducts trainings on sexuality, sexual and reproductive rights and stress management and burnout prevention, customised as per the needs of organizations working in the field. These are conducted in English and Hindi. Since 2003, TARSHI began conducting annual announced trainings and thereafter, to keep up with emerging requests from national and international groups, we conduct both workshops by TARSHI and workshops on-demand. Our trainings includes
- 2 days basic training workshops
- 3-4 days training workshops for a deep dive for Training of Trainers
- 2-6 hours of introductory sessions for awareness and basic understanding of topics.
We prefer a small group of 25-30 participants, to allow for interactivity and engagement. Find below various trainings we have offered:
Comprehensive Sexuality Education
TARSHI believes in the right of all people – especially young people and women – to have accurate information on sexuality, so they can make informed choices about their own lives. TARSHI felt the need to build a common understanding on the meaning of, and the need for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in schools. We conduct trainings, workshops, sensitization sessions for educators, parents and service providers closely engaged with young people. The training focuses on creating a safe space to build clarity on CSE, enhance knowledge and perspective, and engage comfortably on sexuality related issues.

On Sexuality and SRHR
Since 1999, TARSHI has been conducting training on sexuality and started its training module for practitioners on sexual and reproductive health from 2003. TARSHI felt the need to conduct skill-based trainings to support individuals, activists and practitioners to translate concepts of sexuality and rights into practice. The training programmes employ an interactive methodology and group exercises, assignments, presentations, film screenings, discussions, field trips and sessions by TARSHI and external resource persons.

Stress Management and Burnout Prevention
Stress management and self-care for service providers and communities has been an important element of our work since we began our Helpline in 1996. Over the past two decades, our understanding of the importance of burnout prevention and stress management has evolved and we now recognise self-care as an oft-neglected but vitally important feminist issue.TARSHI’s workshops highlight the importance of burnout prevention and self-care from the point of view of individuals, organisations, and movements that one may be a part of.
